Yesterday, Jessica and I celebrated our second anniversary. It was the day we first started talking, exactly two years ago. What's unique about this anniversary, though, is it will be our last because our marriage next September will replace this one -- but this day won't be forgotten.

I don't do this too often, but I just have to: I gotta talk about Jessica for a moment.

Jessica brought me dinner today. In case you haven't already come to this conclusion already: since I go to school during the day, I go to work and stay there until the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes I go home for dinner, and other times Jessica will go pick something up and bring it to me.

Jessica wrote one of the most profound things I have ever read, to which I have no response. I'd like to share it here, though, so you can see for yourself. In the past, I defended someone else so ruthlessly that I offended some very close people. I insisted that I owed no one any sort of explanation, yet I was boldly mistaken. It's my hope that sharing Jessica's writing will somehow absolve me of those errors, as this awesome relationship we share is being described by someone else for a change...
